Application
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
It takes two to form a partnership – EducationHelp would like to offer you holistic consulting support in overcoming bureaucratic challenges to enable successful cooperation.
Below you will find further information on the application process:
1. OBTAINING THE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
The first step on the way to being able to claim school/individual support is to obtain a medical certificate confirming the existence of a disability or restriction.
2. OPINION OF THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
You should then seek an interview with the person responsible at the educational institution to obtain a statement of accompanying needs – we will be happy to assist you with this.
3. SUBMISSION OF THE FUNDING APPLICATION
As a parent or guardian, you must submit a funding application to the relevant authority. Contacting the funding body is an important step in terms of making use of our services.
The statement from the educational institution and the medical report must be submitted with the funding application.
4. NEEDS ASSESSMENT PHASE
It can take an average of four to six weeks while the office checks your documents – use this time to develop a rough requirements plan for the ideal companion together with our agency.
5. AUTHORISATION BY THE AUTHORITIES
As soon as the funding body decides on the scope of the authorisation based on the timetable or schedule and the individual needs of your child, we use our expertise to take over all communication with the authorities and initiate the search for a companion.
6. CHOOSING THE IDEAL COMPANION
In order to form a customised team consisting of the childminder and your protégé, we focus on the needs of your child during our selection process and involve you in the decision.
7. COMMENCEMENT OF ACCOMPANYING ACTIVITIES
After this comprehensive matching phase and an initial personal meeting between the family and the accompanying person, we take care of further communication with the relevant parties and the final steps.
Now we can finally get started – hand in hand towards the future!
